Half Ass/Whole Stage Comedy

It takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears to build a set we’re proud of. And now YOU can be a part of that process!

Inspired by the UK/European comedy tradition of the Work in Progress showcase, Half Ass/Whole Stage Comedy is where YOU can see comedian’s work as we build toward the all-important hour long special! These comedians are working on experimental, long-form and in-progress routines. You may be used to the sample platter of five minute sets in dank basements; but at Half Ass/Whole Stage you’ll gorge on proper entrees at a FEAST of comedy!

It’s a behind-the-scenes look at how comedians build their legacies. You’ll get to see everything swept from the cutting room floor, BEFORE we even put it there! Before Netflix, HBO, or their Juno nominations, this is where you’ll see the rising stars of Canadian comedy perfecting their craft!
