About this course

The Improvised Play Starting with a bare stage. Throw in some improvisers. A director. You end up with magic. In this class we’ll look at the Story Circle and the Heroes’ Journey. Elements include finding a hero, the sage, the magic elixir, answering the call… We’ll also look at the dialectic in comedy. Genre. Increasing your flexibility and playfulness. What makes a scene? Good natured misbehaviour and/or messing around. Character. The actor/character duality and so much more. Now is in FIFTH DECADE of teaching. Ralph can see the Matrix.
