**Winner of JUST FOR LAUGHS Outstanding English Comedy Award**, Laura Piccinin brings her show to the SoCap stage for one night only. “Piccinin is a masterful comic with a keen sense of timing and joke structure. Within moments, she commands the audience, and we’re happy to follow wherever she’d like to go.” ~ Aisling Murphy, *Toronto Star* “Laura has an effortless way of telling her stories that makes you feel like you’re a confidant to her most harrowing tales. In that liveliness is a wit and charm that had me laughing from start to finish." ~Janine Marley, A View From the Box “Laura Piccinin is irresistible. Laura’s blunt honesty marries with her winking charm to present complicated material in an utterly accessible way. If stand-up’s your jam, don’t miss this one.” ~Kelly Bedard, My Entertainment World

Absolutely. Live comedy is one of the best low-effort, high-payoff nights out in Toronto, grab tickets, show up on the Danforth, and let the cast do the work. It’s a reliable date night, birthday, or group outing. There’s also a ton of things around the neighbourhood to do before and after — Riverdale Park is close by, Edmund Burke for food & drinks, and the Danforth Music Hall is right across the street.
We’re at 154 Danforth Ave above the Black Swan pub (same entrance, head up the stairs), a short walk from Broadview and Chester stations on the Line 2 subway, so we’re easy to reach from across Toronto.
