Ed Sahely has been a working actor for over thirty years now. Ed worked with the Second City Company as improviser/writer for seven years. His cast received a Dora Mavor Moore Award for their work on the Toronto Main-stage. He co-created the troupe Not To Be Repeated which would improvise a new Canadian play every night, first running at the Tarragon Theatre then was picked up by Comedy Channel/CTV and became This Sitcom Is Not To Be Repeated. Ed currently teaches Improv to the first year George Brown theatre and acting for media students, at the Second City Training Centre. Other Improv teaching credits include the Sheraton/UTM first year drama students as well as guest artist for the George Brown Gaming Design students, the Charlottetown Festival’s Young Company. Ed is a frequent guest artist acting coach/director for Cawthra Park High School for the Arts in Mississauga, improv and monologue coach for the Theatre Aquarius Summer Theatre Camp 2011-2019. As an actor Ed has many credits for television, film theatre and voice work and continues to work as an actor, a writer, a director of theatre and dramaturge for new works.
