The Performers
Rush Kazi is a Montreal-born, Toronto-based comic, non-binary, bipedal, carbon-based stand-up, sketch, and musical comic. Second City trained, Rush has been featured in JFL42, Toronto Fringe Festival, both Toronto and Montreal SketchFests, Gardencity Festival, Toronto’s SheDot Festival, Leelfest, just to name a few. Rush produces the smash-hit shows Asian Comedy All-Stars, MuJew (A Muslim and Jewish comedy showcase), Gaysian Comedy All-Stars (the world’s FIRST all-Queer, all-Asian comedy showcase), Comedy Mixtape (Toronto’s longest running musical comedy, and since 2012, has run the open mic, Laughter Luau in Toronto and many more events. Rush produces and hosts the political comedy podcast, Almost Indians with Kevin Shawanda. Rush has a 40 min comedy special releasing on OutTV early next year!

This 5 time Roast Battle Champion has been performing all around Southern Ontario and has appeared in multiple festivals including the Brantford Comedy Festival, the 420 Comedy Festival and the United Comedy Festival. Roby Hollywood is one of the fastest upcoming names on the Toronto comedy scene. Originally from Rwanda, his eclectic humor often touches on the intricacies of being raised by a set of immigrant parents in a western setting amongst a vast array of other subject matters guaranteed to entertain all audience demographics regardless of age, gender or background.
Luke is a Toronto-based comedian. When Luke is performing, hang on for the ride – it’s fast and hilarious. In 2020, he was a finalist in the Comedian of The North comedy competition in Thunder Bay, ON and also performed in the U.S. Comedy Contest (Las Vegas, NV), Vintage Improv Festival (Boston, PA), and the New York Underground Comedy Competition (New York, NY). In 2021, Luke has performed in the Salem Comedy Festival (Salem, PA).
Azfar decided that it was time to share his humor and stories with the world, luckily people enjoyed them and he is still alive and well. His comedy is a mixture of in the moment thoughts and whatever he feels won’t get him a Fatwa. If you don’t know what a Fatwa is then don’t worry about it, if you do, then Azfar has reason to worry. Azfar has performed in various venues all over the world from Bahama’s, United States and even a Whole Foods store in Mississauga. Please be aware that Whole Foods is the mecca of all grocery stores.
Based in Toronto Michelle Shaughnessy is fast making a name for herself across North America. She’s had numerous appearances on television and her standup comedy is regularly featured on Sirius XM stations worldwide. Her debut album “You Know What You Did” hit number one on the iTunes comedy charts and her sophomore release “Botoxic” recently received 5 out of 5 N’s from Now Magazine. Michelle is also an accomplished writer and actor with credits that span commercial, variety, scripted and unscripted television. In 2017 she was a finalist in Sirius Xm’s “Top Comic” competition and her audition video has since went viral, with 5 million views and climbing.
